Lapham-Hickey Steel Acquires Cragin Metals

We are excited to announce that effective, November 2nd, 2015 Lapham-Hickey has purchased the assets of Cragin Metals L.L.C.

For over 50 years Cragin Metals has been a premier supplier of steel strips, sheets and blanks to the greater Chicagoland industrial manufacturing base.  Much like Lapham-Hickey, Cragin has been a family owned and operated business that prides itself on superior quality and customer service.

The acquisition of Cragin Metals reinforces our position as one of the leading full line service centers in the Chicagoland and Midwest region.  It expands the products and services that we offer to our existing customer bases as well as the marketplace.  Our goal is to make this transition seamless to all customers.

Over the next three months, the day to day operations of Cragin Metals will be integrated into the Lapham-Hickey headquarters and production facility located in Bedford Park, IL. We welcome the members of the Cragin team to the Lapham-Hickey family!
