Chicago, IL, 11/12/08- Lapham-Hickey Steel Corporation introduces Stretch Leveling. The Leveltek Stretch Leveling System is a significant investment giving Lapham-Hickey Steel the ability to offer additional value-added services while keeping our commitment to meet and exceed out customer's expectations.

The Leveltek Stretch Leveling System provides superior flat, memory free, sheet and strip mill plate for laser and plasma cutting. The stretch leveling system has the ability to handle light gauge products, including High Strength Low Alloy steel grades in up to 40 feet of length. The Stretch Leveling process also improves formability of the product by reducing material spring back.
